Wintery Breakfast Nook

Breakfast Nook gets "crowned" too!

Wintery View

This is a picture of the nook "Before"
it got crown moulding.

What a difference!

The shelf Hubby made for my "displays"
which always change.

Snowmen plates are put away and the
little chicks came out to play.

I can mix my new dishes shown on a previous post with these white dishes we uses every day.

Do you have the "new" red and white cookbook?
My old one is pretty ragged and
my sweet friend gave me this new edition for Christmas.

The cookie jar filled with Christmas goodies
which sat here during December has gone
into hiding until next Christmas.
Old Zek now struts his stuff on the end of my island.
Also, the cheese dish is filled with fruit.

Zek!
He's a character.
I found him in a little gift shop
downtown several years ago.
And, I just happened to have a gift certificate to shop.  YEAH!

This is one of my "FUN FINDS"
while browsing through a
flea market a couple of days after Christmas.
I'm using it here as a little cloche -
like so many of you do.
Thanks for the ideas I get from all of you.

I thought this was a bargain "find" for $7.

  1. Everything looks so pretty. I love your kitchen. The tablescape is lovely and your dishes are wonderful. Love the displays in the hutch also. The thing that caught my eye of course is your cloche, love it, and that wonderful rooster. How fun is that. Thanks so much for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty

  4. I so agree with your "fondest memories" quote on your wall. I love sitting at the table & listen to everyone talk & giggle. It's some of my best memories too!
