A Recipe For You

Chicken Crescent Roll-ups

I'm a fan of yummy foods that don't take long to prepare.
So, I thought I would share this simple,
dee-licious recipe with you.
It is from a cookbook my Sunday School Class
put together several years as a fund-raiser for
Relay For Life.

Country Sides

of
Turnips
Skillet Cinnamon Apples
Fried Okra

My plate.

His plate
(on the left.)

Notice there are no turnips on "Mr.'s" plate.
My Mom and I love turnips cooked with a little hot pepper.
I don't want them very often, but they are pretty tasty
now and then.

Recipe

Chicken Crescent Roll-ups

Cooked chicken - shredded
(Use your left-over chicken or a store-bought rotisserie chicken.)
One can of crescent rolls
Shredded cheese
Cream of chicken or celery soup
Parsley Flakes

Spread chicken on large end of the crescent roll.
Top with a little cheese and roll up.
Place in 9 x 12 sprayed pan.
Mix soup with one can of milk and pour over roll-ups
Sprinkle with parsley flakes
Bake @ 350 for 30 minutes.

(I like to turn the broiler on and just brown
the tops the last couple of minute.)

Now, how easy is that?
It's a comforting, hot dinner in a flash
on a cold night.

Enjoy!

  5. I buy these rolls all the time! Usually I just add tuna or cheese. I will have to make this.
I know my son will love it!
